Boom! Boom! Crash! Wow, what a dream! I had a dream about a hero
saving my city!
Pardon me? You want me to tell you what I see in a hero? Okay,
I’ll tell you. Well, to start off, my hero would be a person who is very strong
in the heart, and trustworthy. It wouldn’t matter if it was a girl or a guy;
they just need to be willing to save me if something was wrong. To me, a hero is not a guy with some cheesy name, suit and who has powers. It has to be a person I can trust and someone that I know in my gut that they will do anything to same me and will always have my back. The heroes in my life are my parents. I know that I can trust my parents more than anybody. I think everybody in the world trust their parents as much as I do.
 I also think that my teacher is a huge hero to me.  I know that she will always be there for me and will help me through all of my “Bumps and cracks in my road.”
So in the end, a hero is just a trustworthy and willing, helpful person and I know I will always be safe when I am around them.

Hi Courtney,

My name is Kaitlyn, and I am a student in EDM 310 at the University of South Alabama, where I am learning how to be a teacher. I think this is a fabulous post! You seem to really know the key characteristics of a true hero. You are so right when you say that heroes don't have to have super powers and such. I am glad to see that your family is so supportive of you! My family is definitely one of my heroes also. Keep up the great work!

I liked how you didn't make up a hero you just used an actual person in your life that is a hero to you. It was really different because my thought of a hero was fictional but you got a different perspective of a hero.
